Of all the Peruvian restaurants in and around the Downey area, this one is the best. The 'lomo' meat dish that is made with fries was so delicious, it was tender, and the juices from how they cook the meat are so tasty. This dish, if made correctly, is proof of knowing how to make Peruvian food - and Fernandos definitely knows what they are doing. The bread and salsa (particularly the green salsa) are a great start to the dining experience. The inside and setting is modest, it's not high end food but the service was quick and friendly. A place to take the family for sure.
